Job Description
•Full time Position based at the construction work site.
•Supervisor should be responsible for supervising the wok of Civil & Structure discipline at project Site.
•This position is an on-site role, not office or desk bound, must be a walk around supervisor.
•Responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of site supervision of construction activities relating to Civil & Structural work.
Basic Job Requirements
Qualification & Experience 
•Graduate Engineer with minimum 7 Years of experience in Site Supervision activities of Petrochemical / Chemical / Oil & Gas / Refineries / Fertilizer projects.
•Diploma Engineer with 10 years of experience in Site Supervision activities of Petrochemical / Chemical / Oil & Gas / Refineries / Fertilizer projects.
•Out of that, at least 2 years’ experience as Civil & Structural Supervisor at Project Site. 
•Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementing of same.
•Strong and proven ability to supervise the construction activities.
•Exceptional vigour and energy accompanied by appropriate oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

•Promote job safety and environmental awareness in construction workmen and other persons at site.
•Ensure that hazards are identified, risks assessed, control measures planned and implemented in consultation with relevant employees.
•Regularly conduct HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and daily jobsite walks. 
•Ensure all construction activities are performed in compliance with the requirements of the relevant specifications, drawings, codes and standards, which form part of the contract.
•Implement Fluor’s standardized construction work processes, procedures, manuals and systems and execute the systems of control for each construction activities in his area.
•Understand the work sequence and ensure that the work is performed accordingly, utilising planned resources in an efficient manner. 
•Organise, coordinate and supervise construction activities in accordance with construction schedules, monitor and review so as to complete the works on time and within budget.
•Promptly advise Superintendents / Area Manager / Site Manager of any issues that could be variations to the contract and keep accurate records of such issues.
•Inform Superintendent / Construction Manager about the issues related to work front release and closing of TQs and any drawing change notes. Contribute to construction schedule and look-ahead and follow work procedures and prepare method statements for compliance.
•Ensure that construction personnel are inducted and trained in their roles and responsibilities and ensure that each one is capable of performing their allotted duties.
•Assist the site subcontractors in the resolution of drawing interpretation and perform site related inspections with site sub-contractors. Review all inspection reports for compliance.
•Workout the resolution of site quality related problems in consultation with Site Quality Engineer.
•Monitor the performance of Sub-contractors, ensure personnel are qualified and competent to perform allocated tasks, have valid certification, where required, for the techniques in use.
•Review inspection test packages, witness inspection/test where required based on approved ITPs. Responsible for timely closure of NCR, CAR and Quality Walkthrough findings.
•Ensure submission of all daily progress reports.

ANCILLARY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

•Responsible for administrative control of construction workmen at site. 
•Motivate construction workers and promote enthusiasm at work site.
•Promote professional image of the Company’s operations and maintain harmonious relationship with the Client and their representative. 
•Maintain positive working relationship with contractors, suppliers and other employees.
•Ensure that Site organisation discipline is appropriately maintained.
•Ensure timely submission of Site reports for progress monitoring and other Site performance information to Site Management Team.
•Requisition of minor materials and consumables as required.
•Any other duties which may be assigned by the Site Management.
